3. Universal Peace Hall

If you are looking for a peaceful vacation in Mount Abu, then Universal Peace Hall is the perfect place to be. You can take part in the meditation and spirituality workshops, which most people believe are extremely therapeutic. The peace hall, rightly named, was constructed in 1983. It houses the facility to translate 16 different languages during the workshops. The locals of Mount Abu say that every day, about 8000 people visit the Universal Peace Hall.

The temple is situated inside a cave. And to reach the temple, you will have to climb about 360 steps. Yes, that may seem like a lot, but trust me, the spiritual and positive vibes of the temple are worth it! During the festivities, especially Durga Puja, you may see the crowd thicker than during other times. I recommend that you plan your solo trip to Mount Abu accordingly, as the tight crowd may hamper your experience.

6. Achaleshawar Mahadev Temple

Achaleshawar Mahadev Temple is among the oldest temples in Rajasthan. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva of Hindu mythology and is considered a holy site by the locals. Legend believes that the temple has been constructed around the naturally occurring Shiv Linga, making it a sacred site for Hindus. The temple was built back in the second century and is a piece of architectural marvel. It is a delight to the eyes and features an elegant blend of intricate interiors and designs. Within the temple premises, you will find a gorgeous pond as well surrounded by sculptures of 3 buffalos.
