Now, as solo female travellers, we plan most of our trip keeping a certain budget in mind. And that particular budget includes your ticket prices, accommodation, food, and travel expenses. When it comes to accommodation, it is very important that we consider hotels and hostels that are affordable yet safe. While Bali is quite a safe travel destination for solo female travellers, it wouldn’t hurt to look for accommodation in a good neighbourhood.

Legian Paradiso Hotel is a beautiful hotel constructed in a Mediterranean style. Although it is a 3-star hotel, you will find every basic amenity you can think of here. The hotel is situated in the centre of Legian, and many restaurants and sightseeing places are within walking distance from here.

Two of the most famous beaches in Bali, Kuta Beach, and Legian Beach, are also located within walking distance of the hotel. So, you can check out the beaches at any time of the day without having to worry about transportation, especially at night!

When I visited Bali on my solo trip, I spent two days at Ananda Cottages. I was blown away by both their hospitality and the amenities offered. Their open-air restaurant is probably one of the best features of the accommodation. It feels like you are having a meal in nature’s arms. Along with the restaurant, the other thing that impressed me the most was their massive swimming pool filled with natural spring water!

Ananda Cottages is within a comfortable distance from major tourist places such as Ubud Monkey Forest, Ubud Palace, Bali Zoo, and Elephant Caves.

And if you are someone who loves reading books or learning interesting facts about the places you travel to, then a library is one place where you can do all this!

When I visited Bali, I stayed here for two days of my solo trip. And I have to say that this is one decision that I do not regret making. The two of the most important reasons regarding my decision to choose Bali Backpackers Inn & Hostel are its affordability and proximity to the famous tourist attractions in the region. 

Another interesting feature of the hostel is that it lets you book tickets to different tourist places and events around the region from the hostel itself. If you want to know how you can do this, it is best that you speak with the hostel staff.

5. Coral View Villas, Amed

One of the most beautiful accommodations in Bali, Coral View Villas, is perfect if you are looking for a place to stay away from city life. The magnificent views of the ocean and mountains are something that attracts many tourists here. And if you fancy having such beautiful views that you get to see every morning when you wake up, then definitely consider staying at the Coral View Villas in Amed.

The hotel is extremely beautiful, and you will be greeted with greenery as soon as you enter its premises. I happened to visit Amed for a day and stayed at Coral View Villas for one night. Although I had plans of exploring Amed for an entire day, the greenery around was so tempting that I made a mental note of staying for a longer time here if I happened to visit Bali for another solo trip sometime. 

Since the accommodation is located in a small village known as Amed, you can also take out a day from your solo trip to explore the village. Some of the tourist places located within a comfortable distance from Coral View Villas are Lempuyang Temple and Lipah Beach.

6. Grandmas Plus Hotel, Seminyak

If you are looking for simple yet classy accommodation in one of the most popular tourist attractions, Kuta, then Bakung Sari Resort and Spa is the perfect choice for you! I spent one night at this beautiful resort without having to burn a hole in my pocket.

The best part about this accommodation is their car rental services. Considering how difficult it is to travel and explore Bali in the summer months, an easily available rented car is a lifesaver. The hotel also has its own swimming pool, spa, a sprawling garden, among many other things for you to enjoy. The garden has a wide variety of flowers and trees as well, so your evening walk here would turn out to be quite refreshing and calming!

If you are landing at the Ngurah Rai International Airport, the drive to the hotel will only be 20 kilometres. And the hotel also provides cab services so you can be assured about reaching your accommodation safely.

If you plan on spending a day or two in Ubud, then Nicks Pension will definitely be a great option for accommodation. You can easily check these tourist attractions at your convenience and without having to worry too much about transportation!

The famous Tanah Lot Temple is also at a nearby distance from the hotel.

I had spent one day of my Bali solo trip in Canggu, and this is the hotel that I chose to stay in. It is very affordable and the amenities offered are top-notch! The most memorable experience of my stay here at Koa D’Surfer Hotel is the yoga classes that I opted for at the hotel itself and its rooftop pool with its mesmerising views. There is so much that you can do in the hotel itself that you may not feel like exploring Canggu at all!
